  • Transfer UVW's from one object to another en masse?

I have a piece of furniture with about 20 UVW's applied for the wood material. The client has just released an updated model of the same furniture, but with higher poly's. I know that I can drag UVW's from the stack to each part in the new model from the old, but is there a way to make it automated so basically I can "swap out" the old with the new, yet retain the UVW's? For now, it's a bit of work to do it part-by-part.

Not sure if I understood correctly, but you can copy ALL UVW modifiers and transfered it over to the new model, unless you have to select each face and assign to specific UVW...

Yes, each part has a separate instance attached, not only to account for vertical or horizontal orientation of the wood grain, but also, to make similar surfaces random (drawers, for instance). So I don't think its possible to copy all of the modifiers at once.

Ouch! Sorry, I'm out of boundaries on this one. 20 UVW modifiers!!! Wow! I don't think I have had that before.
