Yes, works most of the time for me. Autosave alwasy seems to happen right when I'm in the middle of something so I'll ESC out of the autosave, finish what I'm doing and then just Ctrl-S to make sure I don't lose anything.www.dpict3d.com - "That's a very nice rendering, Dave. It works for me most of the times ..you just need to quickly press ESC at the beginning of saving and don't hold your finger on the button as that usually tsend Max to " not responding" state-------------------------------------------------------------

Maybe the quick press at the start is where I fail. I usually wait until I get tired of waiting to press it. It also seems that the autosave doesn't do anything a lot of the time. I'll crash and think, well I just had an autosave 5 minutes ago, however, my backup will be hours old.Bobby Parker
