3dsmax 2018.2 crashes too often without saving

hello,

we have here problems on serveral machines with 3dsmax 2018.2 . we are not that long on max2018.2 cause we mostly wait for all plugins and often for the first SP of max.
not that clear why this happens, but we think that there are several causes of crashing
mostly it freezes for some seconds than it crashes completely.

with former installations of 3dsmax it was not, or surely never that often.
changing the autosave to small values is often a problem if you work with big files...

anyone the same problem and maybe a solution ?
