      Hey,

Just make your simulator a bit higher and move it a bit down so it can pick the movement from the sides.

So you mean I should make the simulator box more thicker?

More tall so it can use the lower part of the ship better.

I tried it, the result is more worse, the splash and foam have not appear in the scene from the begin, the particle have not show any green spot from the begin, can you help me to adjust it and find out what exactly wrong?

I doubt this issue will be related to the content mentioned at the end of this tutorial.

Here is the scene - what I have changed is the size of the grid - I have made it taller (and a bit smaller so the simulation runs faster). I have reduced the grid resolution and the Splash birth threshold. I also changed the render settings to it renders faster.
That's pretty much it. The result is obviously low res, but if you increase your grid resolution and increase a bit the Splash threshold you will be fine.

Wow, you are using a very old Phoenix version and this is why you get the errors. Please update to 3.11.

                    Cheers!

Can you try and download a newer build? The one you're using is quite old and I have made it with the latest one that's why there are so many errors.

Thank you for your reply I will try to update to 3.11, but are you sure when you open the .ma file in maya, maya don’t have any error message pop out once the scene have been loaded.

One more thing is I want to ask, 3.11 support which versions of Maya? 2016,2017,2018?

Yup, all the errors are because of new parameters that we added since 3.04, so the older version does not know what to do with them.

3.11 supports Maya 2015 through 2018 You can check these here: https://download.chaosgroup.com/?pro...cense_type=adv

The scene I have saved is from Maya 2018 but it should work on Maya 2015 as well. What is the result you are getting with the latest build?
