It would be nice to have an option to turn on / off an auxiliary grid in the framebuffer viewport and set its parameters (default could be the grid lines in the vertical and horizontal thirds, optional will be other settings - sixth, tenth, every 100 pixel etc. - just like in photoshop). This grid will help to set the perfect composition, vertical tilt, rendered region etc. Thanks!

I think you want to have such a grid in the Sketchup window instead of the framebuffer or else you have to re-render all the time. A workaround could be to use watermarks in your SU style. If you have a png of a grid you can overlay this and fit to screen.
I've added a simple example.
Best,AMD Ryzen 9, RTX 2080Super, ArchiCAD 24, Vectorworks 2020, Sketchup 2021 Pro, Vray Next for Sketchup, Skatter, Twinmotion 2020

You can use an with an image file just like the one peerman attached and slot it in VFB's Background Image with the As Foreground option toggled on (https://docs.chaosgroup.com/display/...ackgroundImage).
Once set, toggling the grid can be done through the "Use Background Image" button at the bottom of the VFB.
The VFB Background image does not get applied when saving the render output to disk (either through VFB's Save Channel or Asset Editor's Save Image).
I've made a note of your suggestion for the future development of the VFB.
Kind regards,

Best,
But I still think, that also the simple option turn on/off and set the grid parameters in vfb will be useful - if i have a complex scene with a lot of proxies, which are not displayed as the whole geometry in skp viewport, i see the correct composition only in the vfb.
Thanks.
