So I'm using Vray on both Sketchup and 3Ds Max and I'm having the same problem here and there.
When I create a Material containing a displacement map, everything is fine until I add the VRayDisplacementMod to correct the edge holes.
So, step one is to create the material, in this case, an easy roof tile mat. and add it to my Box
Step two is to select the box and add the VRayDisplacementMod to correct the edge holes.
Copy Paste the Displacement map as an instance to the "common params - Texmap" and check "keep continuity" for the holes problem.
As you can see I got all my tiles to "look at me" in the corner.
It's like if the displacement vectors were always looking at the camera in the central point.
Looks like a stupid problem but I'm quite new to 3D Max and I can't find a workaround to solve this issue :/
