  • phoenixfd.dlr>failed to initialize. Error code 127 - The specified procedure could not be found.

Received titled error-message after installing PhoenixFD 3.11 and wondered if anyone had encountered a similar problem and if they found a solution.

    Hey,

Please search the forums first Usually this pops when you install Phoenix for V-Ray 3 together with V-Ray Next, or the opposite - Phoenix for V-Ray 4 with V-Ray 3. Please check carefully the name of the Phoenix installation to make sure it contains vray3 or vray4 depending on the version of V-Ray you have installed.

    Cheers!

Thank you! I was trying to install Phoenix 3.11 for VrayNext but with 3.60 installed.

Whew, glad you got it working! I hope the installer guys would be able to add some checks to such cases in the near future so it warns you (or even errors out) if the Phoenix and V-Ray are incompatible.

        Cheers!
