Help - 3dsMax Vray - Render to texture problem - Diamond

Ok. I had a super good comments from my teacher for my materials. But I did know that there was a trap somewhere when he assign this task to me. And it's in the part 2 of my task and that will be good bonus points... if I can succeed. And really, after couple days reading, learning, trying... I need help. Not necessary the answer, but a way to follow or some kind of...
The attached picture will help. Here's my task: I have to find a way to bake something that will be as close as the V-Ray rendering but rendered on a texture. I need to have 5 gems including the diamond and 5 metals. In the game engine, I would only have access to a specular (that is very poor quality), normal and alpha map. The final goal is to make assets for avatars. I will be judged on how close I will be at the end.
So yes, for sure, everything will be "fix" and will be right only in the camera angle. For now, it seem the only way would be a camera projection. Am I right? And if so, it seem that it would be a nightmare to setup something to have all sides correctly projected... and do that for each one of the mix of the metals and gems. Or maybe I'm just too newbie and my V-Ray settings in 3ds Max are just bad... I don't mind to go into a tedious task or having to do so compositing in Photoshop as long as I can be as close as possible of the regular V-Ray render.
I have tried the V-Ray complete map, exporting separate maps and trying to recompose something close in Photoshop, nothing have worked. But I'm sure there is a way to do a good baking of that even if at the end everything is static.
Thank you in advance for any help!
