  • hot air balloon flame

HI Do you know by any chance best settings to get this fast flame https://youtu.be/__iAh-M8Hb0?t=4m55s

mine just looks strange and cooling does not work. I just wonder if there are any good settings

also why with octane flames always look so strange and not smooth. Not like vray renders I think grid density is pretty good but the image does not look good at all

    Thank you

You definitely need more steps per frame in order to get a smoother flame.

Looks like the Octane render has linear filtering - in Phoenix you can adjust this from the Rendering -> Sampler -> Linear/Spherical, but don't know what is the analogue in Octane.

Have you checked this jet engine scene - we shared it here in the forums recently: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1LAZ...ew?usp=sharing

    Cheers!
