Hello,
First of all, there are a couple of ways to set up a studio environment. One options is to add an Infinite Plane or simply a large enough rectangular plane to your Rhino scene. Another way is to draw a curved Poly-line in Top View, Rotate it and extrude it to the desired length (see illustration). You could also draw 2 planes intersecting at a 90 degree angle. It all depends on what you want to achieve.
Next, for the lighting setup in certain occasions the default V-Ray Environment Background is enough for this type of product render.
If you would like to achieve more specific lighting and reflections one option is to add 1 or more Rectangular lights pointing at the desired direction. The next step is to take a look at the Asset Editor's Camera Settings and understand what Exposure Value is needed according to your scene (Higher value is darker, Lower Value is brighter).
Another option is to use suitable IES lights. Again I would suggest leaving the default settings of the light and figuring out what Exposure Value is necessary in the Camera settings.
If you have any further questions please let me know.
Regards,
Assya
