Depends on how you are sending the sim, but for example if you are using phxfdBatchSim(), you can replace it with phxfdBatchResim(). Check this page of the docs: https://docs.chaosgroup.com/display/...BatchScripting
You should just enable the resimulation checkboxes - either saving the scene beforehand, or during the actual submission from maxscript. Can you tell me more about your workflow, and also are you simulating liquids or fire/smoke?
I tried just clicking the resimulation button and sending it but it failed for some reason. I will give it another try. We are simulating just smoke for an ink in water type effect using bodyforce as well. I have a couple of medium res sims 60 million voxel but we need it to be around 90 for the look we want, when i sim at that res the movment and final shape is different ,I think its the way the bodyforce acts on higher resolutions thats causing the problem. I am trying to upres some of the low res ones that were more succesful.
When i send to deadline with the resimulation ticked, It says the job is complete no error messages and no frames saved. I check that the inputs and outputs are correctly set . I have velocity and wavelet channel saved.
Ok that seems to be cause the filename didnt have the _####. would be good if deadline would report it as failed or give the correct error msg. seems to be resimming now fingers crossed.
