  • liquid on liquid

hi,today i'm simulating hot liquid pouring on a wax object and melt it. the simulator in red circle is the source simulator ,the yellow one is the recipient simulator.the text is filled in brush mode.i find the liquid in it always fall down before the liquid in source simulator touches it,though i tweak the gravity to 0. if i set it to 1,the liquid will fall faster.how can i stop the liquid fall down?

Maybe the viscous liquid is trying to stick to the surface below it? Do you have sticky liquid enabled? You could increase the Scene Scale from the grid rollout or turn off sticky liquid if you have it on, or if you are using a jammed bottom of the simulator, try to move the text up so there would be more space between it and the bottom.

you mean turn off viscosity in liquid source or tweak the sticky liquid in wetting?

Start with sticky liquid in wetting; don't you need the viscosity so that the text would keep its shape?

you mean i don't need check viscosity, just check wetting and tweak sticky liquid, right?

            Yup, try that first
