Hybrid Rendering doesn’t seem to activate until I uncheck and recheck the GPU and CPU

I have a 1950x Threadripper and 2x RTX 2070’s. Hybrid rendering does not work initially, I have to uncheck and recheck the device selection in GPU mode and hope it works. I don’t know if this is a hardware problem or a software problem but it’s getting super annoying.

Also real-time rendering while using HDR light studio is notoriously slow. My pc becomes super sluggish as well. It’s got 32gb of RAM so I’m not sure what’s causing that.

All software used is the latest release.

Any advice is appreciated.

For the slow usage you could check the RAM usage, maybe it's on the limit.

Regarding the hybrid rendering performance, could you please check the V-Ray Progress log (bottom-right button in the VFB) for any warning/error messages? Furthermore, we could arrange a remote session to further investigate this behavior on your end. If deemed necessary, please contact us at support@chaosgroup.com with a reference to this thread.

In respect to the HDR Light Studio, does this occur while using the GPU render engine? A remote session for this would also be more beneficial.
