  • Splotchy Local Render

Can someone point me in the right direction for the blurred spots in this rendering? If I set the render to Chaos Cloud, the spots that you see on the white cabinets don't appear at all. But when I render them locally, I get the result you see with my settings set to "Very High". Any idea where I should look to fix this problem? You can see in the second rendering, the spots don't appear. The only difference is the local vs Cloud render (and a slight exposure change, but exact exposures yields the same splotchy result). Thanks for any tips.

Could you send the scene to support@chaosgroup.com so we can take a look? Please, mention this thread in the email as well.

      Hi,

Thank you for sharing the project with us!

Kindly note that the issue is reproducible only with the GPU Bucket render engine. If you enable the Progressive image sampler, the render output does not have these artifacts.

Otherwise, please be informed that this behavior has been resolved and the solution will be implemented in the upcoming update (4.10.01)
