What software/methods are people using to create some of those ultra realistic bouquets of flowers that you see on 3dsky?

  • #2
Don't know about 3dsky specifically, but if you want to create realistic plants, it's mostly a matter of getting hold of some decent textures and then modelling the plant, either by hand or, if you want to keep it flexible and be able to generate lots of variations, something like speedtree or any of these options

For textures you can capture your own (Dabarti's capture tool could be helpful), or pick something out from textures.com or one of the other services selling leaf/plant textures

I wanted to know the same thing. I don't think its Speedtree although I guess you could do flowers. I would say GROW FX.
