      Hello,

Sorry about the Beta forum access - it is a holiday today here so it would take some more time to get it fixed - probably on Monday.

      Aligning UI upper Icons
That's interesting - adding it to the list with ideas.

      LighMix vs Color Mapping
Will check it out, thanks for the pointer

      LightMix vs Light Select
      - If you want to manually decide on light selects - there is a mode for that in the light mix element.

Any plans add LightMix SubFolders (by groups, type, Layers) with individual Lights (Not combine like now)
We need one full light select per item in the light mix. If you have many lights and we add one light select for each light (so that you can control it individually) - the required memory for just the render elements will be huge..

When Progress bar would be more readable?
Will add a note to the list to try some more options.. There's a topic on the beta forum https://forums.chaosgroup.com/forum/...n-progress-bar with some different color combinations..

Thanks for all the feedback - keep it coming.

      Best regards,

CPU. New Scene -> Plane -> add Mat from Library -> add Enviroment map -> Add LightMix Render Element -> Render

Everything default except HDRI changet to Spherical

            GPU: LightMix just black box

Environment in LightSelect is not supported in V-Ray GPU yet.
If it was that easy, it would have already been done

GPU is still missing the environment and emissive materials - it is soon to be fixed.

LighMix with same Lights in Multi VrayLight Select.

If 2 controls over one light not supported: Need Some Notices that Light NNNN used in more then one VrayLightSelect with their names. Silent Exclude VrayLightSelect not an exit

You are right, we should probably add a note in the log that a light is present in multiple light selects and the second one won't be used.

Not sure what is the issue in the first picture - the one with LightMix element disabled ?

First Image just as Reference to standard Render elements without LightMix

[Group by: Individual lights] already creates render element for each light (and no one care about required memory),but just without ability virtualy group them in folders.

Is QT additional line with check box & arrow left/down & name "virtual folder" need so many memory?

I meant that if you have many lights in the scene - hundreds or even thousands (that is not uncommon nowadays) - then it will be a memory problem. If you are already working with individual lights but have them grouped somehow in Max and the question is only about UI grouping - then yeah we could think of something.
