Windows 10 recent update causing major system and 3dsmax slowdown

Any idea which update? Was this just a basic update, or a new version number?

It seems a graphics driver update and a system restart seemed to resolve this issue. Very odd but all good now

Glad you got it fixed. I watched and read every way I could find to turn off auto updates with Windows 10. The newer builds make it hard (maybe impossible) to completely turn off all updates. Months later some magically happen.

I've had bad experiences with updates that completely break things like stopping Max from working so I detest them and try to turn them all off. Can't have your system go down in the middle of a project.
