  • CPU IPR shows different results from bucket rendering.

I had used the CPU IPR to make an image, when it came to final render, the refractions and reflections look different. i have tried changing the GI to brute force/brute force, but it doesn't work.

I like the results from the progressive but can't find a setting to make it the same.

Trace depth is different between IPR and final render usually, try to lower the value also on the standard bucket rendering and see if that help.

It didn't work i'm afraid. i'm stumped, in the IPR it comes out super reflective and nice which is now i want it because it's how i built it. But in the production it comes out all rough.

Trace depth was a good idea, but it makes no difference.

Is it possible that you are using the GPU and not the CPU?

lol no, i have done tests using the gpu too. the reflections come out much like the cpu IPR but there are lighitng and shading differences which were expected.
