To add to the mix, I can zoom from 25% to 200% and I don't get that nesting at all.

Better documentation platform

Ok, so I just thought to look at my Windows display settings and for my monitor it had been set to scale to a recommended 150%.
I took my screen grab earlier, with those settings, though when I just changed it to 100% (to see if that affected the docs, which it didn't) and then changed it back to 150%,
all the odd behaviour stopped, which seems to suggest that this is the cause, at least on my machine.
I hope that helps.

Thanks for your continued assistance.
I tried what you suggested, with regards to Windows Display Settings.
No such luck unfortunately.... still not working.Jez

Oh dear
I'm afraid that I am out of ideas now, with no way to test.
Hopefully someone with deeper knowledge of the specific platform may be able to shed light.
EDIT: Um...unless a grab of a page inspection from here will show something different to what you are getting. I'm not knowledgeable enough to know whether that is worth doing, or where I
would need to look for the specific part is, so maybe a false lead.Last edited by fixeighted; 23-01-2021, 12:03 PM.

Hey JezUK
Thanks for the screenshot!
I think it looks like this because of two things:
- There is a known bug of the platform we use (as fixeighted pointed above), that makes the page tree that stretched and the hierarchy goes down almost in a horizontal line rather than left-align as in the screenshot above. We know it to happen when the display scale (in Windows) is not the recommended one, e.g. the recommended is 200%, but you use 150% AND/OR when the browser scale is set to certain percentage, which you said you haven't. Unfortunately, there is no bug fix so far and the only workaround is to play a bit with your browser or display scale.
- The second thing is that the page tree itself is an adjustable column. In your screenshot it is far stretched and makes the content column very small. You can fold it so that it doesn't limit the content on the page. Here's how. This will not fix the page tree nesting problem, but at least you'll see properly the content layout.
Hope this information helps!
Cheers,
Kristin

Thank you for your reply.
Regarding your second point - I am of course aware of that feature - I merely placed it far right to show how far nesting is going on the left hand side. And even then you only saw some of that nesting, not all of it!

I would try in an incognito window to see if it works without addons.
