    Hi there
    which is good secondry bounce system
    Light Cache or PhotonMap plz let me know I want to try that
    I tried photon map with appartment file but it was too slow and complicated to set..
    and took 30 min on P4 2.8 HT enabled with 2gb ram at 640x480 resolution
    I used 10 cm for max density and 200 for max photons with 20 bounce
    but want to try light cache to
    which is good option ...
    plz let me know before demo get dead

    stick with lightcache, photon maps take a while to setup, and can be a bit tricking in corners. Lightcache is a very quick solution.

      Lightcache a "very quick solution"??? when, where? in my experience it´s a disaster......... which are the settings for lightcache, because for me, it´s a loooooonnnnngggg wait to render any simple escene.

        youre doing too many samples then. Dont try rendering the entire image like a PTT render with thousands of samples , just do enough to lay out a nice spread, and let irradiance cover the rest.
