I used to be able to see the Thumbnails. Maybe I have done something that avoids me to see thumbnails

This looks like the annoying Windows thing that appears to mess up thumbs display at some point.
I have no idea what causes it but have had it happen constantly for a few years now. They do start displaying again seemingly randomly
after certain restarts but I think it's just something we have to live with if running Windows
