VRay Error I cant get rid of.

Dont worry about getting help from Tedi in email support. Has the likes of abrupt answers that are vague at the most. Onto my problem that maybe someone can help me with.
Im getting an error when I start 3ds max 7 that says


"DLL<D:\Program Files\3DS Max 7\StdPlugs\VRender60.dlr>failed to initialize.

Error Code-127-The specified procedure could not be found."

Ive tried un-installing Vray and re-installing to no avail! I just want VRAY!!!!!

Any ideas?

I don't know about your problem, but I haven't had any trouble with Tedi. All at Chaos have been quite helpful IMO. I'm still surprised that they have time to reply to emails. Many companies blow you off with a sugar-coated RTFM answer.

Hmmmmm. Maybe that dll shouldnt be in that folder.

Well just fixed both my problems. The dll was not supposed to be in that folder and I forgot that I had to assign the renderer. Duuuuhhhhhhhhh.

VRAY installation problem here also....

even i m gettin the same problem like dusty!!!

i ve downloaded the Vray free plugin (v.1.09).i installed the plugin but while starting MAX it showed the msg. saying:" DLL failed 2 initialize.error code 126: the specified module could not be found"
plkease help me regarding fixing this problem.why is it showin like that???
i had initially installed the demo version of Vray.it was workin fine!!!
after its date was over i installed this free version
