Render manager alternatives

Hey all,
Been on the look out for a new render manager here other than Backburner (because...) and Deadline (price). Started testing Pandora, but it's not very stable as it seems (not to mention the errors are random and the messages don't actually help identifying the issues).
Any other alternatives out there? Free, if possible?
