I've been attempting to download the vray for sketchup software from Chaosgroup but the download won't finish. Three times I've tried, and each time, the download stops at varying times and won't recover to complete the download. Is there server issues? I've tried other sites online and didn't have any problems connecting. I also tried my local isp server connection that's still running blazingly fast.

As of today, I am still having issues. The same one happens where I have to try multiple download attempts before it finishes but then when I try to start the installer, I get a Windows security message, which I get past, then I get a checksum error, due to a broken download. I wish someone could look into thsi and find out why I cannot download the Vray for Sketchup installer.

I am attaching a screenshot of what I see when trying to install Vray for Sketchup version 6. This shows up after having to "whitelist" the installer, which is a first for me. I've been using Vray for a couple of years now and this is the first time this has happened to me. Needless to say, this error has come up every single time I've tried to re-download the Vray installer. After this message comes up, I have no chaoice but to click the ok button, and then the installer terminates.

Dear james_morvay1, hello.
Excuse us for the delayed response. This is our first workday after the holidays.
The issue could be solved by contacting our Tech Support via our contact form, but I will navigate you to the main advices and questions to answer:- define the used Anti-Virus / Anti-Malware Software
- disable it and try re-downloading
- try downloading the build from another browser
- are you experiencing this with V-Ray 6 for SketchUp installer only or with V-Ray 5 too
Please go to Start button and type About, open the System Settings and copy/paste the Windows specifications.
Waiting for your answer.
Best regards,
TS

My apologies Tsvetomira but I actually figured it out, by way of another issue I had, with regard to the download itself. I discovered that downloading the installer through Microsoft Edge, as opposed to Firefox, helped immensely. Not only did it complete, but was intact and was capable of installing without any issue. What puzzles me though is that I'd been using Firefox for a long time and in that time, I'd been able to download the installer before without any issue and install vray without any errors. I suppose at this point it doesn't matter now and I'll make sure I use Edge in the future.
Thank you for following up on this. My issue has been resolved.

I have an update, albeit very negative. I am at the end of my rope, trying to download Chaos software! I recently acquired an upgraded computer, and yes, while I am at fault for not saving the previous download somewhere to be accessed again, I was left coming back here to re-download the software and again, it WON'T download!! I am highly upset that I now have to guess at which browser will allow me to do so. I tried Brave, Firefox and even Edge again, and all three either stop in the middle of a dowload, to which I have to repeatedly try again and again, or when I finally reach the full download, I get multiple warnings to trust the download, or it may be malicious content. If I trust it and tell windows to keep the download, the install starts and then fails with a checksum error.
What is going on? I NEVER had this problem in the past and as I said before, do I have to download every browser in existence to allow me to get software I pay a subscription to????

Currently still dead in the water.
Using Edge, with NO blockers or extensions that would block downloads, it will start the download and stop at 100mb. Start again, it'll get to 200mb, then stop.
Moved back to Brave, start download with NO extensions running, whitelisted site, download will start, then stop at 500mb. Try again, then I get a failed download, network issue
I went as far as to download Chrome, completely clean, no logins or account active, no extensions. Try to download, immediate failed download, network error
I am NOT using any 3rd party antivirus on my computer, just default Windows Defender, default security settings.
I am at a total loss, this has become more than just annoying. I feel like I have no other option to get the installer for Vray for Sketchup, and I am slowly beginning to think that cancelling my Vray subscription is my last option. For a company to have zero support for something so basic, or dictate that users should only be using a specific internet browser is ludicrous.

Ok, narrowing down the problem.
I CAN download Vray for Sketchup version 6 for MAC, but not Windows.
I CAN download Vray for Sketchup version 5 for Windows.
Something or someone is blocking me from downloading Vray for Sketchup version 6 for Windows, which according to account management is active, I have an active paid subscription, but I am being blocked from downloading the installer
