Veneer wood finish

Can anyone help me create a Veneer polish effect for an office desk ?

In Vray free, setup a wood material like you normally would. In the reflection slot, place a falloff map, set it to perpendicular and viewing angle. In the white slot, put a vray map with reflect turned on. Check the glossiness on. That should give you a decent result than you can play with.

When using Vray Advanced Demo, setup a vray material, put the wood in the diffuse slot, set the reflection value to almost white, check on fresnel reflections, set the glossiness parameter to around 0.8
