  • Mesh Smooth - rendering irradiance map taking so long

Hi everyone, i have noticed that when im rendering scene full of low poly objects with mesh smooth modificator it takes me a significantly longer time than the same scene with the same objects but converted to meshes. Is thar any way i can use low poly objects with MS mod and have the same time of rendering ? because when im changing objects to meshes i loose capability of change shapes...

Just use subdiv mode in vray displacement (2d, 3d, subdiv) and dont have a map (Set amount to 0). That way the only thing its doing is what meshsmooth would otherwise do.
