Vray settings auto return to default

Hi i recently downloaded the Vray demo download from this site.

i have been doing a couple of reneder tutorials and when i was setting up the settings in Vray i noticed that every couple minutes the settings would default back to original setting so i have to redo all the settins basicaly every time i click render. . is this becasue im using the demo version???

and also i am using max 7 but when i click the max 7 download version it downloads the max 6 version in a zip names max 7. is there a version for max 7 or do u just use the max 6 version?

The demo resets the settings every time you save or in your case everytime it autosaves.

Max 6 and 7 use the same version.

I think demo version info should be made a sticky here. how many times have we heard this same thing this last month

ty for the quick reply. sorry i did actually search for a post on ths subject but came up empty. sorry bout that.

where in Max 7 can i actually disable autosave? i cant seem to actually be able to find aoptions or preferences.

o no matter sorry just found the preferances. just used to it being within the first 2 or last drop down menu
