  • Vray Maya render and save glare image with a transparent background

    Hello Gang.
    Never posted here.
This is pretty simple, I am sure, if someone can explain how to do this: I have simple object that I rendered that has the glare bloom effect in the final render. I am trying to save out the glare bloom effect with no background, or a transparent background. I simply forgot how! Any tips folks?

    Many thanks in advance!

In the Lens Effects layer, there's an option to "Save Glare channel" (usually on by default). This will produce a separate render element for the Glare. To save both a regular RGB and an RGB with lens effects, turn the "Create effectsResult channel" as well.
