basically, Im not understanding why you think someone is going to sell you a license of vray basic for cheap just because somebody purchased it prior. This isn't a car, it doesn't lose resale value...

thanks to mr. Bill Gates back during Dos. Software in leased, not sold. You don't own it, you lease it. If you owned it, Chaos would have to give you the code they has worked on.

Bitmaps are a different catagory to software, where you can buy or lease the images/photos. Like royalty free you buy, but rights protected you lease depending on it images actual use.

ah k then, well I would offer some of mine but Ive been using them for a few years, and from running them through countless renderings, file backups/transfers and what not they have gotten pretty warn and I just wouldnt feel rite about selling these images to anyone with their current ultra high milage...

last i checked vray cant be sold by individuals by the nature of its liscence.
