Cosmos can't find assets over VPN

Hi All,

I have a work computer where I do most of my daytime work which is connected to our internal network and servers. I like to take work home sometimes as my computer is more powerful but I run into this issue where downloaded assets become all checkered going from work to home. I thought I might have solved this issue by changing the asset storage location to the server, that way I just log into the server and access the same folder for materials. At work this worked flawlessly but while at home Cosmos can't find anything in the folder. They pathways are the same between work and home, so I'm looking for any help I can get on why Cosmos isn't reading the materials out of the server folder while I'm connected via the VPN.
