  • 3ds max volume grid channels

    Is there a way to drive the normals of a volume grid with a channel or texture? trying to import a houdini vdb, within houdini you had the ability to drive the normals with the gradient channel, is there a way to do this within 3ds max using vray?

    Hey Samuel,

    What are you trying to do exactly? At the moment you can use textures to drive the fire and smoke opacity or use the texture as mesh surface.
