  • Chaos unboxed

    Good morning.
Surprised there has not been a topic already about this.
Chaos Unboxed, I presume some have watched it, and the future looks bright, on a lot of levels.
I am more focused on the Arch Viz side but they are planning so many other new features and tools.
These Unboxing Streams will be on going, so every few weeks or months they will be releasing new information about upcoming developments.
The VR headset and Mobile platform sound very interesting, Twinmotion and Lumion have these features for a while, but the real-time version connected to Vantage should be a good.

Anybody else watch the Unboxing, and have any thought?

    Big things for me...

Cosmos - AI generated materials. Will be interesting to see how well this works, as this could be a game changer.

Cylindo - AI generated backgrounds and environments.

    Vantage VR - Ohh yes!

Vantage Virtual Production - Again ohh yes, but will be interesting to see how Vantage goes from a pre-vis tool to a fully real-time tool.

I thought that the content of new/developing features was great and I look forward to more, though the format wasn't to my taste.
I think it felt and looked a bit forced, datedly 'corporate' and a little clumsily scripted at times.

I realise that devs are not necessarily the most comfortable when induced to be on camera, so possibly a more experienced single presenter of these would be a
better and surely a simpler approach, with selected potions for dev 'interviews' on specific technical aspects/reveals.

As a comparison, the Phoenix dev videos they produced were packed with info and delivered with genuine humour and an informality which made them
      extremely watchable.

I thought it was dreadful and seemed more aimed towards potential investors than users. Very strange focus.

It did seem a little NVIDIA about it, but to be honest Vlado doing it on his own would be fine, there are there so many streams to the company now, it has to be shared out, for it to grow, and it will grow, exponentially.
The company has to stand on its own for the other big consortium to come and buy it up eventually.
