  • VRay Decal & displacement

    Hi all,

Having a small issue with vraydecal and displacement (or at least I assume that's what the issue is).

As you can see on the front (left of image) side of the building the white band is exactly as expected, however along the side of the building it is very patchy. Any ideas how to fix this?

There was me thinking it'd be a quick and easy one - "just make sure that box is checked"!

    No ideas?

I don't use the decal like this normally, but it just looks like a projection error to me. Decal is orientated exactly 90degrees relative to the patchy wall and the bump/displacement is messing it up). Maybe add a bend to the decal and extend it slightly further out so it has "more" surface to project from... towards the sides of the building.

Just change the normal angle past 90 degrees
