  • Distributed Rendering Multiframe....?

HI, i've recently tryed usind v-ray for an animation because i needed to use Dreamscape in this scene and mental ray doesn't work with that plug. I'm ready to send the animation to my 10pc render farm. I trun on Distributed rendering and hit render. 10 buckets showup on the screen and render the first frame very fast, BUT ass soon as the first frame finishes and the secondone begins, I notice there are only to buckets rendering.

How can i render an animation with Distributed Rendering, and not have the render farm drop out on me after the first frame?

Is there a way to render vray animation "network rendering" style, where each pc gets one whole frame to complete?

    Please HELP

You can't use DR for animations. Use backburner instead.

Yea, I just found out that "Rendering an animation sequence in distributed rendering mode is not supported. Use distributed rendering only for single frames."

      Thanx, I'll try that.

I just started a month ago with 1.47

The Backburner method works!!! I'm just about to start a test animation.
I hope the lights don't flicker because they're calculating on different systems, I put the Irradiance map to "Multiframe Incremental" and pray.
