AXYZ Posed People - Individual Sale No Longer?

Can you no longer purchase 3D posed people from AXYZ? Is the only option Anima? What about SketchUp users who want to expand further than what's available through Cosmos?

Looks like you need a subscription for Anima. I suggest taking a look at the competition, they should offer 3D people without stupid subscription models.

So what would a SketchUp user have to do? Import into Max and then export as FBX and import into SketchUp? I miss the ability to buy the ones I needed in SKP format already. That's lousy that they got rid of that option.

The websites I provided, provide different formats, humano3D / RenderPeople / GoboTree / HumanAlloy all have SketchUp formats. 3D People doesn't but they have obj and fbx, also Blender, so you can use that to convert to a format that SketchUp can use. All sites I gave have free models, so you can always test those.

You can still purchase individual 3D (Anima) people from inside the app/plugin. I have the plugin for 3dsMax where I can directly purchase single models from the shop. This shop is only available inside the plugin and only until somewhere in July this year. I don't know if there are plugins for other hosts. I still find the quality and setup for animations of Anima people very good compared to all available alternatives, but for stills (and even sometimes in animations) you can always enhance with AI.

I don't see anywhere in the latest Anima 5 software where you can purchase models. I think that might have been removed already. I did figure out a workaround to get what I needed accomplished. I just wish they would offer a subscription available that would just add all the static posed models into Cosmos. It seems like a no-brainer opportunity to get subscriptions from SketchUp users.

I still use v4 and there I can still access the shop. Obviously the latest version 5.6.1. does not need a shop anymore since it is now subscription only. So why not just install Anima 4 without the max plugins to access the shop?

I don't see a way to install Anima 4 any longer. I am thinking Chaos doesnt really want us to do this.

I can still download v4 in my account at secure.axyz-design.com. But that is probably because I did not upgrade to v5. Is there also no older version 5 in your account to download? If not I would contact support and explain your situation: I am sure they have a version where the shop can still be reached. Somewhere last year (tink August) they announced that the shop would still be availlable from inside the anima application till July, so I don;t see a reason why they wouldn't give you a version which has the shop integrated, since after July the shop won't work anymore!
