Texturing the Onyx trees

Since everyone convinced me to buy onyx.. I bought it, rather, I had my company buy it for work. So now its YOUR responsability to help me texture these! HA!.. ok.. so not realy

Just wondering if anyone has any examples that show their work on the onyx trees in a render sort of up close and at a distance too. I tried applying a texture to the trunk of a palm, and from a medium distance it just looks brown

Oh its really easy to do, its kind of a special multi/sub object. that you are going to map. Look in the help for onyx, it has tutorials on how to do it tht can explain better than me.
