Does V-Ray support Constructive Solid Geometry?
How would one render cross-sectional view?

MAX has a slice plug-in:

Revit has a pretty cool scope box, but you can't export your model, keeping the box so you can't use it outside of Revit. neat, but probably not applicable for you.

but Renderman and 3Delight can do CSG pretty easily, so I thought V-Ray should have a decent implementation of it considering many CAD/Arch artists would want such feature as well.
