help please

hey all.

Some reson i cant post in other parts fo forums so i will pleed here.

I downloaded Vray to have a look at it with 3dsmax8 as i wanted to have a play with some things.

But i didnt like it very much so i uninstalled it.

BUT, the file i was useing it wish keeps trying to load VRay and has problems when opening my file... There is nothing in there that is useing anything Vray does...

My Material Editor Looks bodged up due to Vray beeing removed and i need it back to the way it was, i need my little gray balls back not the black one's...

I have to finish my animation and have it handed in on thursday or i fail! and i cant do anymore unless i stop max trying to load a Vray dll and bodging up my materail editer!

phoenix, try searching your 3dsmax directory for files/folders beginning with "vr" and delete them.

In the scene(s) you used Vray, open the render-dialog, tab: Common, rollout: Assign Renderer, and change back the renderer to scanline. Your materials should look ok again then.

where did you download that version of vray from?
