  • VrayProxy As Particle intance ?

Hm, i am not able to use VrayProxy As Particle intance geometry.
I workaround this with small script that instances VrayProxy every frame and puts it over the particle, but motionblur goes away like that.
Its a good point for future thinking i belive.

Pflow makes a gigantic mesh for each flow which has caused a tonne of problems with vray in the past - your best bet is to bake the animation to nulls then parent the proxy to this. There's a lot of scripts out there for it.

I have in mind something diferent.... not to do workorounds. Better approach is to have whole new class of objects for such needs. Proxys are not only for trees and architecture purposes...

sorry for double post, but imagine for example 150 000 stones... for a year maybe you will bake the animation and grandchildren will finish the parent job hehe. This is what i mean, of coarse everything has a solution, but what a solution is the question

Getcha - so you're still using pflow to distribute your proxies? Must have a look into this with scripting...
