  • Perspective view exposure control

    Greetings...

i am just trying Vray SP2 demo for 3ds max and i found out that in order to get your images tonemapped correctly, you have to use with gamma/lut correction also vray physical camera which has its own exposure control. Is there any way to get exposure control without vray physical camera ? I mean to render just from perspective view, something like mental ray which has exposure control in the enviroment settings.

    Thank you for your answers

    Exposure

You can locate the script (MaxCam_To_PhysCam) that will turn any view into a v-ray camera view.

You can lower the intensity of the lights or use the Color mapping options to adjust the exposure.

There is a recent wish for something similar:

... or you can use vray framebuffer and adjust exposure slider there...
