Rendering 16bit .vrimg

hi, can we get an upgrade that allows to save 16bit half floating vray images (or openEXR)... 32bit is too much in most cases, and a 1280x720 image with 10 render elements takes up 250MB ! the 16bit version only 11mb
i think this would be a great and useful integration

V-Ray can save .exr files (just use .exr extension instead of .vrimg); by default they are 16-bit.
