  • Distributed Rendering process Priority

    Hi All,

First time I have ever posted on here, but I could use a little help.

I have 3 Network Licenses for Vray and am creating a dedicated render farm in my office. However I have run into difficulty setting the processor priority on the DR Spawner to stay at High or Realtime. These PC's will be dedicated render slaves and I would like to squeeze all the processing power I can out of them to improve performance, please advise if there is a way to do this? I have already tried using a utility called Prio but I think the process spawns a new executable so the priority settings seem to get lost.

(for some reason despite being a customer, I can only post in this forum so sorry if this is in the wrong place)

    Thanks for your help.

    Hi All,

    Just a quick update,

I have emailed Chaos Group support regarding the issue but am yet to recieve any response or information on how to make this happen, I noticed a few people have looked at my post, I just wondered if anyone had experienced this problem, or had setup a dedicated render farm themselves?
