Sorry all, another one, i've looked about here and can't quite find definitive answers, so i'll bother you all.
Im looking at buying the educational verison of vray. I've read i will get updates for a period of time - is that just while Vray is v1.5 (ie for subsequent service packs only) or for any v1.x (future releases of v1.6, 1.7, 1.8, etc)?
Is there any news or indication that Vray v2.0 is to appear in the near future or is it just speculation at this point?
also if i buy Vray educational now and i finish unveristy course before my updates "expire" (ie if i get updates upto v2.0 arrives) will i still be able to get verison updates to my educational version?
in buying Vray now, once i finish uni and i no longer get updates (ie v2.0 has arrived) can i still use that last updated version of Vray forever or do i have to pay a yearly subscription?
I've been told by my vray retailer that i need to email a scan of my student ID, is this cross referenced with anything (ie will it be a problem using a credit card that has a different name to my ID - my wife's card for example?)?
Thanks in advance
