I got splotchy ceiling behind glass, after check possible reason one by one, I have found that the problem is casued by using IrMap and Refractive Glass Material togather.
glass Material: difuse black, white reflection with fresnel, white refraction, other settings see pic : http://img819.imageshack.us/f/17202455.jpg/
Once i set the Brute as the Primary bounces engine. (http://img822.imageshack.us/f/41038831.jpg/), or remove the refraction (refraction color to black) and apply a none bitmap to Opacity map (see: http://img153.imageshack.us/f/72205353.jpg/), the splotch is gone.
the glass panel have thickness and there are no surface overlaped togather. I just wondering why Irridiance map is alway wrong behind the glass with refractive material. I've check the IrMap sample and it seems ok. but the rendering is alway wrong with even "very-hign" IrMap preset. Can someone help pointing the problem?
