  • V-Ray Light Global Illumination Exclusion

Does anyone know if there's a way to exclude GI contribution for individual Vray lights in a scene? I frequently use lightcards for product renderings, and I don't want these lights to contribute to the indirect lighting of the scene.

I can exclude the direct light contribution using standard Max light exclusion functionality, but this doesn't seem to address the GI contribution. My GI settings are generally Irradiance (primary) and Brute force (secondary).

Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!

Another solution is to compute the irradiance map with the lights turned off, and then turn them on for the final render with the saved map.
