stupid question about BurningLiquid-new scene

with scanline only flame is visible
when I switch to vray everything is gray.

how can i properly render this scene with vray?

the scene is not about the shading, it just shows a setup of burning liquid in one pass. however, i still recommend for such simulations to be used the old two pass setup, it is more controllable.
