v-ray license server on OSX: get status?

Hey All --

Is there a way to query to license server for its status without going to the website? I'm looking for something I can run on the command line to get the status of the server. OR - does the server write access logs anywhere? Still haven't found much in the way of documentation on this aspect of the software.

Currently the web page is the only way to get the status; you can use tools like wget to automatically get the page and parse it as needed.

Another question: I've run vrlservice using SystemStarter, but the vrlservice process is still being launched when users log into our license server, which is bad because the process will be killed when the user logs out. Can you help troubleshoot getting vrlservice to launch as a system process and not a user process?
