sdk samples

Hi!

Where can I find Vray SDK samples from "vraysdk/samples/vray_plugins/"?
I only have "C:\Program Files\Chaos Group\V-Ray\3dsmax 2011 for x64\samples\3dsmax_plugins" and there're a lot of things in sdk documentation that does not exist in my installation.

The standalone samples are included with V-Ray for Maya and V-Ray Standalone; they are not very useful for V-Ray for 3ds Max as it can't load them directly.

I want to implement a plugin, sort of VrayScatter but much simpler, to be able to generate render meshes at rendertime. Could you just point out which of the examples bundled with 3ds max version should I start with to sort out how this kind of plugins work? I thought geometry vray-plugins should help me, but there are not is standard 3ds max bundle.

Are that samples included in demo version of V-ray for Maya? I'll check it at work tomorrow...

I've downloaded Vray for Maya but there's no Sdk samples. May be because of demo version.

Hm, looks like it's not in the SDK with the official 2.0 builds, but I'm attaching it here.

Of course, the sample might not be quite what you are looking for, so you'll have to modify it to do what you need.

BTW - there's no sdk in Vray for Maya at all.

None of the demo versions includes the SDK files; they only come with the full versions.
