    is there a way to save the vray settings when changing from a computer to another inside or outside the 3dm file ? or from session to another...

    Yes go to the VRay -> Options and click File->Save and you can save it in our VRay for Rhino Options file format...*.visopt

    As another note, please do not post these questions in our Gallery section. If you cannot see our other forums (General, Bugs, etc) please read this http://www.asgvis.com/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?t=466

        Yeah, I would like to have a way to let people post and share the vismats and visopts...that would definately be good for the community

          Joe, could you make that the visopt file is in a file format readable for the simple windows editor? So we could direct share settings here as text.

              I don't understand. Did you mean the workflow? I think, it could be nice if the user could copy an option list from the forum here to a standard WINDOWS text file and rename it. I have used this way in the past to post renderman shaders. No extra file server was needed.
