  • Non Photorealistic Illustration Rendering in Vray?

Hi all, can someone let me know if Vray has a decent nonPR illustration shader, similar to Brazil's? (line silhouettes, linewidths vary with distance from camera etc) thanks in anticipation, paul

    hello Paulmin,

well in vray43DStudio there is a toon shader which does what you want, but as far as I know it will not be implemented into the first release of vray4rhino.

I think Iremember some guys using rhinoman for producing lines and superimpose these in PS on the vray rendering...

Hi paulmin - like vcube said it's unlikely that it will be included in the first release, however you could always try the Penguin plugin for Rhino? - it's not fantastic but it may get you over a short term problem?
